Western Sports Weekend featuring PBR and THE AMERICAN takes place Feb. 27-28: Tickets on sale Aug. 28 PBR Fan Club tickets on sale today.
ARLINGTON, Texas: For the third consecutive year bull riding and rodeo fans will be treated to the best Western sports stars in the world when the PBR Iron Cowboy and THE AMERICAN return to Arlington, Texas, on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 27-28.
AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, will be the site of the Iron Cowboy, the second PBR Major of the 2016 Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS). The PBR Majors are the highest profile events on the BFTS, presenting unique formats, featuring the stars of the PBR (bull riders and bulls) offering increased world standings points and prize money, and airing on CBS Television Network.
For one night only, Feb. 27, the Top-40 stars of the PBR will tackle the sports rankest bulls, striving to make the 8-second buzzer. If a rider stays on his bull for the required 8 seconds, he continues to compete. If he gets bucked off, he is finished. The men will continue to ride until one cowboy prevails and is declared the Iron Cowboy.
Tickets for the Iron Cowboy go on sale to the general public Friday, Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. CT and range in price from $20 to $152. They can be purchased at the AT&T Stadium Box Office and Ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
