Giveaway Program Raises $283,500 for Student Athletes
The Texas High School Rodeo Association (THSRA) and Texas Junior High Rodeo Association (TJHRA) are proud to announce that the Bloomer Trailer Giveaway Program raised $283,500 during the most recent rodeo season, continuing a long-standing partnership dedicated to supporting youth rodeo athletes across Texas.
Funds were generated through the annual Bloomer Trailer ticket program, where supporters make donations for a chance to win a custom Bloomer Two-Horse Bumper Pull Trailer presented during the State Finals. The program not only gives participants an opportunity to take home a world-class trailer, but more importantly helps invest directly in the future of rodeo.
For years, the Bloomer Trailer Giveaway has served as one of the organization’s most impactful fundraising efforts. Every dollar raised stays within THSRA/TJHRA, with a large portion remaining at the regional level to benefit the students who sell the tickets. The proceeds help fund:
- Added money at state finals
- Scholarships for graduating seniors
- Awards and recognition
- Special programs and leadership opportunities
- Youth development initiatives
Randy Bloomer, owner of Bloomer Trailers, shared,
“The Texas High School and Junior High Rodeo Associations provide incredible opportunities for young people to grow through competition, responsibility, and sportsmanship. We’re honored to continue standing behind these athletes and their families.”
THSRA leadership echoed that gratitude, emphasizing how the program empowers members to be directly involved in supporting their own sport.
“This program gives our athletes ownership and pride,” said THSRA Marketing Director Holly DeLaune. “The effort they put into selling tickets turns into scholarships, added money, and experiences they will remember for a lifetime. We are incredibly thankful for the Bloomer family’s continued commitment to rodeo youth.”
