The Texas High School Rodeo Association Trailer Program
Marketing Director THSRAIn 2009, Bloomer Trailers joined Texas High School and Junior High Rodeo’s Sponsorship Team. Since then, they have generously donated a Bloomer Trailer each year, which is used to generate funds through THSRA’s annual Bloomer Trailer Giveaway. THSRA and Bloomer Trailers are extremely proud to announce that the program will hit the half-million dollar mark this year in donations received due to this great program!
This past June, at the THSRA State Finals in Abilene another record was set for the Bloomer Trailer program, when donations exceeded the $100,000 mark during a single year. A record setting $103,950 was brought in, which means THSRA and TJHRA member’s experienced incredible benefits at the State and Regional level.
THSRA and TJHRA really happens at the Regional level, where student athletes compete at region rodeos throughout the year in hopes to qualify for State. The association is very proud to have a program that supports our Region’s awards and scholarship programs, and provides the recognition these athletes deserve.
Each Region puts the Bloomer Trailer Donation money to use in a different way to better their Region. Many Regions direct the money to help lessen the expense incurred by their state and national qualifiers, while other Regions put the money directly into their Senior Scholarship fund to help deserving Seniors pay for college.
All of the Regions provide the best year-end awards possible, but with the Bloomer Trailer money they have been able to give higher quality awards and awards to additional places (not just the Champion and Reserve Champion).
The program also drives benefits at the State level with funds going to help increase added money payout to the TJHRA State Finals and with Seniors receiving thousands of dollars of college scholarships at the THSRA State Finals.
Bloomer Trailers will continue their commitment to the youth of THSRA and TJHRA during the 2013-2014 rodeo year. Everyone is looking forward to breaking more records and “Raising Dollars for THSRA and TJHRA Cowgirls and Cowboys.”
